Nobility of Giving

Gifts can be anything ranging from small thing like sweets to things like cars and other material things. Normally people offer them to people on various occasions like birthday parties, wedding ceremonies, and celebrations like Christmas and events that may have made the person giving the gift proud of you. The giving of gifts therefore gives the feeling of love, friendship, appreciation, solidarity and as way of pity sometimes. A gift note comes in handy describing the kind of event or even showing the appreciation of the giver or a word of thanks.

Anyone can receive a gift be it a friend, neighbors, relative, parent depending on the situation. However in certain situations a gift may be a form of bribe especially if it is intended to give the giver an illegitimate form of service that is not required by the law. A gift like this comes in form of money in many cases. Gifts like this are considered to be illegal and some people tend not to receive them. This gifts are given out of selfishness and show the capabilities of a person to do all he can to satisfy his inner selfish feelings.

Religiously gifts are given in the church to symbolize certain events. Gifts like bread and wine given to the congregation by the priest symbolize the body and blood of Jesus Christ. The art of gift started long ago as religion puts it when the wise men traveled to deliver gifts to Christ upon his birth. Death of Christ is also a form of gift to the world from God.

The art of gift making therefore exhibits the inner feelings of the giver to the receiver and one can decide to can customize his own gifts instead of buying. A gift to someone has its own importance’s as it removes the pride from the one given the gift. The gifts make one understand people around you care for you and will always appreciate your work making one to derive an inner confidence.
